Carrot Mask for Glowing Skin

2 peeled, boiled and mashed carrots

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon juice

* Let the carrots cool and add the olive oil and lemon juice

Carrots are rich in vitamin A and antioxidants which contribute to cells’ renewal process and help maintain moisture. Lemon juice diminishes any discoloration and aids in healing blemishes. Olive oil provides lots of moisture.

Banana Honey Mask for Softer, Smoother Skin

1 ripe banana

2 tablespoons honey

½ teaspoon nutmeg

Bananas are rich in potassium, vitamin A and vitamin C. Potassium hydrates skin while Vitamin A smoothens out aging skin and Vitamin C supports production of collagen.

Nutmeg and honey are both anti-inflammatories that reduce redness in chapped or dry skin.

Avocado Coconut Oil Mask for Bright, Healthy Skin

1/2 ripe avocado

1 tablespoon virgin organic coconut oil

1 teaspoon honey

Avocados are moisturizing and a great source of antioxidant carotenoids, which protect your skin from environmental damage that leads to wrinkles and dark spots. Coconut oil has many healing properties; it is a moisturizing anti-inflammatory that keeps the lipids on the skin’s surface in tact.
